Bill was the 1st member of Glenrothes Hillwalkers Club to compleat all his Munros. Bill also completed the Furth of Scotland on Foel Fras in Wales in 1996. Bill is possibly the only member to achieve this. 2. Steve is a past Chairman of the Club and has done over 1000 Munro ascents! 3. Wendy was on the committee (huts) in the past. 4. Wanda was on the committee (indoor meets) in the past. other times. 5. Mick was the Club Chairman, 2006-2008. 6. Bob is a blatant hill list ticker. Obviously a Train spotter in the past! 7. Kate is a past Chairperson. 8. Janice is a past Chairperson 9. Wendy and Norman are past committee members (indoor meets and walks). Wendy and Norman are the first couple in the club to have completed together. 10. George is the former Vice-Chair & 'buses' committee member and has also been all over the Highlands, without being able to drive. 11.Cameron is a past Chairman and was also married during his term. 12. Andrew was the Clubs Supreme Webmaster for many years. 13. Janice, along with a friend, are probably our highest ascenders having achieved Meru Peak in the Himalaya in October 2010 14. The well known duo of Dave and George completed together on Ben More. 15. Albert completed all his Munros without being able to drive. 16. Ian has served on the committee, but unbelievably is a bigger list ticker than Bob! 17. Sylvia had a stint on the committee on Club Weekends and Indoor meets. The only people who appear on here are either current members of Glenrothes Hillwalkers Club or past members who have asked for their achievements to be listed here.
