‘MEMORIES OF CHRISTMAS’ Cast Bios CHRISTINA MILIAN (Noelle Carson) – Christina Milian is a budding multi-media mogul with enterprises in music, fashion, television, and film. Born in New Jersey and raised in Waldorf, Maryland, Milian – who is of Cuban descent – knew show business was for her immediately. At a young age, Milian became a junior journalist on the Disney Channel's “Movie Surfers.” Before igniting her musical journey, she appeared as a guest on several TV shows, such as “Clueless,” “Sister, Sister,” “Smart Guy,” “Charmed” and “The Steve Harvey Show,” and as a recurring character on “Get Real.” Milian’s first lead role was in the 2003 film Love Don’t Cost a Thing and then she went right into Be Cool opposite John Travolta, Uma Thurman, and Vince Vaughn with F. Gary Gray directing. Milian had a fun role in Ghosts of Girlfriends Past opposite Matthew McConaughey and starred as the lead role in the film Bring It On: Fight to the Finish. She starred in the holiday movies Snowglobe and The Christmas Cupid. Milian is also the voice of Esther on Fox’s hit animated series, “Family Guy.” On the unscripted side, she served as a co-host on the first few seasons of NBC’s “The Voice” and starred in the reality series “Christina Milian Turned Up” on E! Most recently, Milian starred on the Fox comedy series, “Grandfathered” opposite John Stamos and Josh Peck. She was a lead in the in the Kenny Ortega-directed TV event, “Rocky Horror Picture Show,” also for Fox. This past summer, she was added as a series regular to season two of Sony/Crackle’s “The Oath” opposite Ryan Kwanten and Katrina Law. Milian will also recur on the new Netflix series “Mixtape” starring Jenna Dewan and she just wrapped an arc on the YouTube Red series “High & Tight” opposite Danny Pudi. Milian’s musical career began when she signed to Island/Def Jam/UMG at the age of 18 and was quickly selected to sing the hook on Ja Rule’s No. 1 hit single, “Between Me and You.” The enormous success of the song introduced her to the mainstream music world and gave her commercial success. She then co-wrote the Jennifer Lopez hit “Play” and Paula DeAnda’s popular “Walk Away,” and she was one of the co-writers of Justin Bieber’s smash “Baby.” Her self-titled debut, “Christina Milian,” produced the hit “AM to PM” which was her break out into pop culture. Several of Milian’s singles charted in top five in the United States and internationally. Milian’s “It's About Time,” released on Island/Def Jam/UMG, featured the mega-hit “Dip it Low” for which she was twice nominated for Grammy awards. She resides in Los Angeles with her daughter Violet. # # # MARK TAYLOR (Dave Beckman) – Mark Taylor was born and raised in Toronto, and relocated to Palm Harbor, Florida during his last two years of high school before returning to Toronto. His numerous and diverse credits include an upcoming role in “The Umbrella Academy” for Netflix, as well as two indie shorts, Related Destiny, directed by Will Thompson and The Women of Alpine Road directed by Mark Datuin. Other feature films include Cinderella Man for Universal and directed by Ron Howard, One Drop directed by Tricia Lee and Gone Tomorrow for director Jordan Brown. Taylor appeared as a series regular in the mini-series “Insomnia,” as well as “American Gothic” for CBS. He was nominated for a Canadian Gemini Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a featured supporting role in a dramatic program and series for his roles in “Flashpoint,” and “Doomstown.” Taylor’s performance in “Drop the Beat” earned him a Gemini Award nomination as well as a Reel Black Award Winner for Outstanding Actor in a Film or Television. Taylor has had recurring roles on “Beauty & The Beast” on The CW, and “Being Erica” for CBC, and was a series regular on “Instant Star” for CTV and “Student Bodies” for the Fox Network. Taylor’s earlier roles included appearances in HBO’s “Rebound,” “Color of Justice” for Showtime, “FX: The Series” for CBS, “My Father’s Hands,” “Our Hero” for CBC, “Thin Blue Line” and “Seventeen Again” for Showtime. Taylor guest starred in “The Famous Jett Jackson” for Disney Channel, “Covert Affairs” for USA Network, and “Remedy” a Canadian medical drama series which ran for two seasons on Global. Taylor studied Computer Engineering Technology at Seneca College and graduated from Albert Campbell Collegiate Institute.
