Jon es Tr ia l A dv oca cy Wor ksh op New Lawyer Institute: 60 Minute Mentoring MBBA The New Lawyer Institute (NLI) is launching a program called “60 minute mentoring,” which Im m igr a tion offers each NLI participant an opportunity to sit down with a lawyer for one hour. During the For u m hour, the participant may ask questions about the mentor’s practice setting, practice area, and general career development strategies. NLI participants are coached to know this is not a job SA BA NY Book interview and there is no expectation of employment. There is also no expectation to meet Clu b again. It is up to the NLI participant to contact their mentor to set­up the one­hour meeting.
