Dear Parents and Students of Mr. Perreiah's 8th grade history classes, As you know, school will be closed through April 24. I do not have lessons prepared for such an extended absence. However, I think it is vital to keep some sort of structure during the extended closure. So, here is what we will do. For each week, please read between ten and twenty minutes a day about a historical subject. Our current subject through the month of March is Westward Movement. Parents, if you would like your son/daughter to write a short summary and turn it in to me during/after the extended closure I will take it and grant some sort of credit. Students can pick and choose their own subjects. I know not everyone has access to on-line sources. True, this is not a perfect solution but something is better than nothing.
