On many topics, the policies in this document provide additional detail and guidance on how the approach set out in the Core Planning Strategy will be implemented through decisions on planning applications. Therefore, the two documents should be read in conjunction. The table below has been provided for guidance purposes to show how the policies in this document relate to policies in the Core Planning Strategy. It should be noted that some Development Management policies will contribute to implementing a number of Core Planning Strategy policies. The table only deals with direct relationships between Core Planning Strategy policies and Development Management policies.
