One decides she is going to go out to the bars and the other decides she is going to stay home and get some sleep. Right after the first roommate goes out, she realizes she has for- gotten her ID. She rushes back to the room, deciding not to turn on the lights so she doesn't wake up her roommate. After a night of parrying, the roommate returns to the room, only to find her other roommate slain and written on the wall above her, in blood, are the words, "Aren't you glad you didn't rum on the lights." Folklorists are seeing more and more urban legends, such as this one, focusing on college situa- tions.
