Home and School have been working really hard to bring this exciting event to our community. Have an amazing night at the races, and support our school. Tickets are now available at the school office (EFTPOS), and must to be purchased in advance of the event - sales close this Friday 19th February. We would love lots of our community to join us for a drink and a flutter. Arrive anytime from 7.30pm and stay for as little or as long as you wish. Races will be spread out over the course of the night so lots of chances for everyone to place a bet and win some money! How do the races work? There is no form guide at all, it's all down to luck. Place a bet on the night on a horse (numbered 1 to 8), bets are just 2$ and you can make multiple bets per race. Once the tote closes an historic race clip is chosen at random and shown on the large screen. The excitement mounts ...and those who backed the winning horse claim their share of the winnings! Then the tote reopens for the next race. Capture all the fun of the races, here in Te Horo!
