Greetings Brethren, I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. Welcome to March. The year seems to be flying by. I can’t believe the first quarter is almost over. We have had a lot happening in our Lodge since the first of the year. So far, we have had two Open Books, a MELT meeting, a Master Mason return, a Masonic Outing at Rock & Brews in Oviedo and we also had an E.A. degree at the end of February where we initiated two new Brothers, Father and Son, Michael and Ben Bledsoe. Please join me in welcoming them both to the Fraternity when you get the opportunity. March is already ramping up to be a busy month. The Right Worshipful District Luke Leonard Deputy Grand Master will be having his official visit to our Lodge at the first stated Warshipful Master meeting of the month which will be March 9th. During this meeting, your Lodge will be presenting to the DDGM, Winter Park Lodge’s vision for the next 5 years. If you are interested in hearing where your upcoming Officers see your Lodge in the coming years this might be a wonderful meeting to attend if you are feeling up to it. We will also be announcing the next Masonic outing for March. We are trying hard to put some outings together that will give us all the opportunity to do some things in a safe way that will bring us back together and allow for some great fellowship. I hope as many of you as possible will try to attend these outings. If you have any idea’s or want to know more about when, where, or what we will be doing for our Masonic outings in any given month please feel free to reach out to Senior Steward, Preston Weis, who has agreed to take the lead on putting together these outings. At the first stated meeting in February, I presented the first Mason of the Month for January 2021 which was given to our own Senior Warden, Billy “The Silverback” Triplett. He has really stepped up to the plate this year and has taken upon himself a lot of responsibilities within the Lodge and has also been a huge assistance to me thus far. I want to thank him again publicly for being a big help to me and being available to me whenever I have needed him. Thank you again my Brother. As always, we will have two stated meetings in March, Open Books on the 27th, and a Masonic outing will be announced, and a date specified probably at the first meeting. I hope you all will do your best to come out if you feel comfortable and support your Lodge and Officers. As always, I hope 2021 brings you all health and happiness, but most of all I hope it brings us all back together. God Bless my Brothers, and God bless the United States of America. It’s hard to believe that the first quarter of the year is almost done already. What a tremendous start we’ve gotten off to under the leadership of W:.M:. Luke! Attendance is rising at our stated meetings and some sense of Billy Triplet normalcy seems to be back after the last year of dealing with Senior Warden Covid. Let’s hope and pray we continue in this direction and less people get sick. We are gearing up for a busy spring and summer and are excited about it. We have a Fellow Craft degree scheduled for March 11th. If you would like to be in the degree get with our J:.W:. Bro. Russ. If there’s anything your officers can do for you please don’t hesitate to ask! DO THE WORKS!!! Fraternally, Bro. Without wanting to jinx anything, it looks like 2021 is off to a much better start then 20/20 was! That being said, I would like to reach out to all of you and ask you to do one thing in this coming month. Reach out to the brothers that you have not seen in Lodge for sometime Russell Anderson Junior Warden and invite them to dinner prior to meeting. There are brothers who have gotten out of the habit of coming to lodge because of the 20/20 Madness and some of them may just need a nudge in the right direction. Myself, the stewards, and other brothers who have kindly step forward to help will do our part to make sure they have an enjoyable meal. I would like to give a special thank you to brother Juan Carrero and his very gracious wife for preparing that delicious Venezuelan meal we all enjoyed! If any of you Brothers have an interesting meal idea please don't hesitate to reach out to me I will see if we can make that happen. Russell Anderson Junior Warden Reminder: The 3rd Tuesday of every month, there will be Degree Practice at 7 PM at our Lodge. Please come out and join and learn some Ritual! Are you connected?
