President's Message On Friday evening, May 16, I had the opportunity to address the fourth annual Chairmen's Dinner at the college, and I would like to share highlights of those remarks with you because the focus of the program that evening was on topics that I think are of interest to the alumni, friends and parents whom we reach through this magazine. I began by acknowledging the two hosts for the evening, Mr. Eugene Durgin, chairman of the college's Board of Trustee~, and Mr. Lo~ Ricciardi, '81, chairman of the college's fo~dation. Mr. Durgm and Mr. Ricciardi work tirelessly and WIth great success to strengthen the ties that exist between ~he college and the foundation.
