Seward is a two-time Region VI Tournament Champions WBCA National Academic Champions for the community colleges and a five-time top ten finisher NJCAA National Tournament 5th Place in the WBCA academic rankings. They were the 2015-16 NJCAA Academic Women's Basketball Head Coach at Liberal HS Team of the Year with a 3.57 team GPA and have been in the top 15 of the NJCAA Academic 2001-04 Head Girls Basketball Coach Awards in each of the last four years. Head Coach at Balko (Okla.) HS 1999-2001 Head Boys and Girls Basketball Coach Wynn served as the Assistant Coach for the Lady Saints in 2004-2005 under former Seward County and current Oklahoma State head coach, Jim Littell. In his one season as assistant, the ESU COACHING HISTORY Coach Years W-L Pct. Lady Saints finished 5th at the NJCAA National Tournament and were Region VI Tournament and Jory Collins 2010-18 199-58 .774 Jayhawk West Conference champions with a 35-3 overall record and a 14-2 conference record. NCAA Tourney: 2012-17 MIAA Champion: 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 Brandon Schneider 1998-10 306-72 .810 "My time at Seward will always be special and dear to me," said Wynn. NCAA Tourney: 1999-2001, 2003-2010 MIAA Champion: 1999-2001, 2004, 2008-09 Before coaching at Seward County, Wynn was the Head Girl’s Basketball Coach at Liberal HS and Cindy Stein 1995-98 65-25 .722 NCAA Tourney: 1997, 1998 coached Boy’s and Girl’s Basketball at Balko (Okla.) HS. Wynn played basketball at Northwestern MIAA Champion: 1998 Oklahoma State for one season. Wynn then attended and graduated from Oklahoma State where Val Schierling 1981-95 212-182 .538 he earned his Bachelor’s in Business Education. CSIC Champion: 1982, 1985 Debbie Jones 1976-81 89-43 .674 CSIC Champion: 1979-81 The Lady Hornets are set to return five players that started at least nine games this year including Linda Caruthers 1974-76 30-12 .714 four of their top five scorers. They will also get back seniors Addie Lackey and Kyrstie Miller along Totals 1974- 901-392 .697 NCAA Champions: 2010 with sophomore Daley Handy who all missed the entire 2017-18 season with injuries.
