Patterns of play (including “Managing your Strengths and Weaknesses”) SPEAKERS ROB KOENIG Tennis Playing Background Singles wins early on in his career over World #1's, Pat Rafter, Yevgeny Kafelnikov as well as Tim Henman and Felix Mantilla. Had most of my success at Tour level in doubles. US Open semi-finalist, 5 titles, Finished Top 10 as a team with JL De Jager, beat every Top ranked team (except the Woodies, they cost me a lot of money!!) between 1997 and 2005. BEST JOB IN THE WORLD! ;-) Coached In 2006 full time on Tour: Wesley Moodie, Mahesh Bhupathi and World #1 Team Mark Knowles/Daniel Nestor Commentating career: Started in 2007, and in my 9th year now, working just about every major tennis tournament on the men's tour (and a few on the women's). Watching so many of the world’s best players, play so many matches live, has given me incredible knowledge about this lovely sport. RIAAN KRUGER (ITF) Riaan is the ITF Development Officer for Southern Africa since January 2011. He is also a SATA Tennis Pro and Level 2 Certified Coach. He worked for the Tennis South Africa as a tutor for Play & Stay, Level 1 and Level 2 from July 2008 to August 2011. Riaan was the Coach of the University of Johannesburg Tennis Team from January 2007 to December 2010. During this time he was selected as National Coach on 3 occasions for the SA Universities Team. From 2003 to 2007 he coached and travelled extensively with players on the ITF Junior and Professional Circuit. Riaan is a regular speaker at the ITF Regional and World Wide Coaches Conference as well as other Sport and Tennis related Conferences. BRIDGET VISEE (COACHES REPRESENTATIVE ON TSA BOARD) Bridget has over 25 years coaching experience and has been playing the game for over 40 years. Her coaching experience ranges from working with Learners in the Play and Stay program to Captaining teams in All Africa games, both Junior and Open. Bridget established her coaching school in 1991 and runs it from WPCC on Ave de Mist. She is a National Tutor for TSA coaches education program and is serving on the TSA Board representing Coaches. Bridget is TSA Professional tennis Coach , both in the old and new system. Bridget has a passion for tennis and for growing this game of a lifetime. Well done to all Coaches attending this workshop , it is vital that we keep ourselves updated. .
