Catcher Hamlet Marte was transferred to Rancho Cucamonga from Double-A Tulsa of the Texas League. Marte started the 2018 season with Rancho and played in 19 games (.286, 2 HR, 10 RBI). Tomorrow GONSOLIN GOES: Tony Gonsolin (2-1) will make his tenth start of the season for the Quakes and second start against the 66ers. San Jose at Lake Elsinore, 1:00 PM Gonsolin last pitched against Inland Empire at LoanMart Field on 4/13 and allowed one lone run over 3.1 innings while striking out Rancho Cucamonga at Inland Empire, 2:05 PM four in a no-decision. Last time out, Gonsolin tossed a season-high seven innings and struck out five in a win against Lake Elsinore. Stockton at Lancaster, 2:05 PM Gonsolin was drafted by the Dodgers in the ninth round of the 2016 draft out of the University of Saint Mary's in the West Coast Visalia at Modesto, 2:05 PM Conference. OPPOSING PITCHER: Sean Isaac (1-0) is scheduled to make his first start of the year for the 66ers and fifth overall appearance on the hill. Isaac was transferred to Inland Empire from Triple-A Salt Lake on the Pacific Coast League on May 18 after making three appearances with the Bees (1-0, 7.88 ERA). Jordan Sheffield and Tony Gonsolin, ranked April 9 at Stockton L, 2-10 18th and 24th in the Dodgers' system, by MLBPipeline.com, return to the Quakes to help anchor the rotation. Former April 10 at Stockton L, 0-1 Quakes Dean Kremer, Issac Anderson and Andrew Sopko will also pitch out of the rotation. The bullpen began the April 11 at Stockton L, 3-5 year made up entirely of former Quakes, with Stetson Allie, Chris Matthewson, Parker Curry, Andrew Istler, Nolan April 12 Inland Empire L, 4-5 Long, Ryan Moseley and Jason Richman making up the relief core.
