Booster brick (8 standard, 5-figure boosters, 1 super booster) • Idencal to the Booster brick configuraon in Marvel Heroclix: Giant-Size X-Men • 24 Ct. Gravity Feed with Single-Figure Foil Packs • 6-Figure Fast Forces Pack • Marquee Figure • Set Level Organized Play Kit DC HeroClix: Batman introduces Vehicle Super Boosters to the game. Vehicles are a new mechanic that will impact both compeve and causal play, and they look very cool. There will be random weighng of Vehicle Super Boosters to help against “cherry-picking” of certain pieces. DC HeroClix: Batman introduces Prime figures to the game. Prime figures are alternate versions of characters found in the set, that are designed to be highly effecve and efficient as well as desirable from a collector perspecve. Think “Foil Card-rarity” HeroClix figures. The release of DC HeroClix: Batman kicks off the 6-month No Man’s Land Storyline Organized Play series. Case purchases of DC HeroClix: Batman are ed to the inventory requirement for No Man’s Land Storyline Organized Play Months 1 and 2 kits. DC HeroClix: Batman will release 14 November 2012. 3 Here are all of the vehicles found in the DC HeroClix: Batman set. Please note that the GCP Squad Car and Tank will be packaged together. All Vehicles in the DC HeroClix: Batman set include a 2 x 4 base with the excepon of Blue Beetle’s Bug ship (center). Release proximity to DC HeroClix: Batman is intended as a follow up release, and will help bolster Batman inventory for No Man’s Land in-store events. DC HeroClix: Streets of Gotham releases 5 December 2012. 5 DC HeroClix: No Man’s Land is the Storyline Organized Play event follow-up to 2012’s Infinity Gauntlet OP event. No Man’s Land will be six months of in-store play with requirements essenally idencal to the earlier Infinity Gauntlet Storyline OP event. More details are available below as well as at www.HeroClix.com/NoMansLand 6 7 It is important to note that while No Man’s Land is essenally idencal to the earlier Infinity Gauntlet OP program, there are some prey big (and cool) differences as well. Firstly, it is certainly worth nong that the NML Month 1 kit includes TWO different parcipaon level prizes for your players. One being the Ulity Belt display piece and card, and the second being the Gas Pellets special object which can be used as the first addion to players’ Ulity Belts. Secondly, each map in the NML OP program is double-sided and features a Gotham City locale in both a pre- and post-quake state! There is an oponal rule included in each month’s OP kit that explains how to use this mechanic in game. Thirdly, as with Infinity Gauntlet before, the compeve level Limited Edion figure prizes will not be offered again in another product. These figures are unique to this OP program. Fourth and lastly, we have included an addional Gotham city map for use with the “Gangs” subgame element to NML. We will dive deeper into this later in the presentaon. 8 It is worth nong that this is the only me this parcular Batgirl has ever been offered in HeroClix. For the comics-familiar members of our audience, this is the Helena Bernelli/Huntress version of Batgirl. Also worth nong is that unlike Infinity Gauntlet, every month of NML will include 10 double-sided maps (again, with pre- and post-earthquake sides). 9 10 11 12 As with NML Month 1, the Month 6 kit includes TWO different parcipaon level prizes: the Handcuffs special object and Batman’s Cowl special object. The Batcave is the grand prize to the NML OP event. It is essenally the “Thanos and Shrine to Death” of this program. The Joker and Harley duo figure is the compeve Limited Edion figure prize for Month 6. The Penguin is the prize for the “Gangs” subgame within the NML OP program. More on this below. The Penguin can be played both as a member of one’s HeroClix team, or as a resource dial. 13 The Gotham City map calls out the key locaons represented in the No Man’s Land program with checkered yellow and black borders for easy locaon. The Gotham City map also calls out the locaons of maps included in the DC HeroClix: Batman and DC HeroClix: Streets of Gotham Fast Forces packs and set level OP kits. The long-term idea is for stores to be able to host their own Batman/Gotham City- themed events, leagues, etc..with this map, the gang tokens, and all of the maps found in the various products listed above. These elements are designed with all of these purposes and more in mind! Map will come rolled in the kit and is usable with Dry erase marker We’re going to try to make the Map file available to stores with permission to reproduce so that stores can print out Wall sized maps for your event. 14 Here are two unpainted renders of the No Man’s Land Month 6 Batcave Grand Prize. The first image in the upper le-hand corner demonstrates how the Ulity Belt resource dial can actually fit into the Batcave sculpt, which actually serves as an in- game element as well as a nice way to display both the Batcave and Ulity Belt. You will also noce a HeroClix dial in the center spot; this serves no in-game purpose other than to demonstrate that a HeroClix figure could be placed there for display. The second image shows the Batcave from the tope-down, allowingone to fully appreciate it’s size and detail. The Batcave is mounted on a 3 x 6 dial (like Master Mold and Galactus from Marvel HeroClix: Galacs Guardians). 15 This is a painted and deco’ed version of the Batcave Grand Prize. Please note that Alfred is part of the dial, and on his tray are First-Aid supplies. If the Alfred dial on the Batcave resource dial is used, HeroClix figures can actually be healed in game by “vising” the Batcave! (Just like Batman in the comics!) 16 Later this year will make these special holiday promo figures available to stores, details will be forthcoming shortly. 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 Like Lord of the Rings? Like Quarriors? Then Lord of the Rings Dice Building game is for you! Ulizes the innovave dice building mechanic pioneered by the Quarriors! game from 2011. 25 This is the follow-up to the earlier inial Star Trek Taccs release. If fan and consumer response is anything like Start Trek Taccs (1), then Start Trek Taccs II will be HUGE! Star Trek Taccs II features several new licensor approved starships never before seen as three dimensional sculpts! 26 We believe this will be a very popular release due to the combinaon of innovave and fun play and the inclusion of HeroClix elements, most notably the first appearance of the SwitchClixTM mechanic. Inial release may bear a closer resemblance to an actual HeroClix release, with high consumer demand, with a tail end of sales more resembling a tradional board game release. 27 Here is the first slide demonstrang the new SwitchClixTM mechanic. 28 29 The SwitchClixTM figure clicks off of the base thanks to the patented SwitchClixTM design. 30 With SwitchClixTM, you physically remove the sculpt from the Strategy Game dial… 31 …and bring the sculpt to its corresponding SwitchClixTM HeroClix dial! 32 The SwitchClixTM sculpt will fit easily onto its corresponding SwitchClixTM HeroClix dial! 33 34 Voila! 35 SwitchClixTM opens whole new worlds of design and development! 36 Marvel HeroClix: The Amazing Spider-Man will be the first Marvel HeroClix release for 2013, and returns to the tradional 10 Ct. 5-figure standard Booster brick model, as well as a Gravity Feed with single –figure foil packs. The Amazing Spider-Man features the introducon of all-new “Wild Dials” which do not behave as ordinary dials do. Wild Dials allow certain figures to simulate the effects of Vampirism, Lycanthropy (think Werewolves) and more! Prime figures (see DC HeroClix: Batman above) are introduced to Marvel HeroClix in The Amazing Spider-Man. Marvel HeroClix: The Amazing Spider-Man is scheduled to release 6 February 2013. 37 38 Marvel HeroClix: Iron Man 3 features characters from the latest Iron Man movie from Marvel Studios. 39 DC HeroClix Teen Titans is the third retail installment for the No Man’s Land OP Program.
