See which movie tickets are sold like real-time hot cakes with Pulse on the iPadWhere It ExcelsThe Fandango app has all the basics like search for Showtimes movies in movies, theater, GPS location, or timing, but it's also the best way to buy movie tickets from your phone. Fandango's movie ticket-buying system (including a paperless, scanned mobile ticket to the movies) is used by several other Showtime movie apps and services, so why not cut out the middleman's apps and go straight to the source? You can keep your credit card information in the app, and buy movie tickets for your entire family all at once in just a few taps. Go Now lets you turn a boring evening into a spontaneous movie night on the fly. You'll see every theater near you and which movies will be playing soon, so you don't have to do more research. Just pick a movie, buy tickets in the app, and go. You can get directions to the cinema too, and Fandango lets you choose between using Google Maps or Apple Maps. If you have the notifications included, you will receive a reminder that your film will start in half an hour. So if you're out and about, you don't get distracted doing something different and miss out on getting snacks before the show starts. Fandango's select system is also simple and straightforward. You can assign certain theaters as your preferred destination, and you can follow movies that haven't come out yet. Just select the theater or movie in the app and tap the heart in the top right. Any theaters you love will be the first to appear on the list when you're looking for Showtimes, which is good if you often have the same theaters most of the time. When you're favorite to film, the movie is added to my movie list. Once there, you'll get news updates, exclusive and notifications when tickets go on sale, so you don't miss the opening weekend. Where it falls falls is not perfect, however. There are two things that keep Fandango away from this title: ads and review scores. No matter what tab you're on in the Fandango app, there's usually a small banner at the top or bottom of the screen. Sometimes you'll get full-screen ads as you change tabs as well. There's no premium fee or membership or version of the app to get rid of them, so they can be frustrating for some. When it comes to evaluating Fandango reviews, they are not as useful as the ratings you'll find in some competing apps such as Flixster and the IMDb app. Fandango user survey estimates are based on a five-star system that makes it harder to get anything compared to a percent-based aggregate system, such as Rotten Tomatoes. Also, Fandango fan review ratings are questionable because movies never seem to get less than three stars, according to a recent analysis by FiveThirthyEight. Fortunately, Fandango shows professional film critic review scores (and Metascore based on all related critical acclaim), as well as links to every full review for you to read. CompetitionFandango has just bought one of its biggest competitors, Flixster (our previous choice), and a film review of the aggregate site Rotten Tomatoes. Both Fandango and Flixster will still work as individuals at the moment, but the best features of Flixster will probably come to Fandango soon, and vice versa. A better review score system may well be on the way to Fandango (hopefully), and Flixster, the only Movie Showtimes app that doesn't use Fandango's ticket-buying system, is likely to start using it. IMDb (free) is definitely a solid alternative (as well as our choice on Android) if you're a serious movie buff who wants more behind-the-scenes information. In addition to all the things IMDb is known for, you can search Showtimes for any movie in the theater or for a certain time range, and watch trailers for upcoming movies. You can even buy tickets through the app, but the service is powered by Fandango. Most of us know how useful IMDb is for getting information about movies, but few people are likely to think about... MoreMovies from Moviefone (Free) is another alternative, but the app's features are rare and the ticket-buying system is powered by Fandango. Moviefone doesn't have any ads, however, and uses Metacritic for its movie review scores, so it may be worth it for some people. In the same stadium, Showtimes (free) are pretty barebones when it comes to features. The app has banners, ticket sales are powered by Fandango, and Showtimes' movie review scores just the average ratings found in the Flixster app. Contact [email protected]. Some people are just very enthusiastic about showing their searing passion for a certain cartoon, anime, TV series, or movie. Some people fill their room with an official official while others begin their careers as writers or artists by writing or drawing their favorite characters in each of their works. There's no limit to how you can express your love. If you're a big fan of something, but you don't quite have a desire to buy every bit of official and unofficial merchandise you can get your hands on, and you don't have the talent to contribute fan-made things, don't despair. There is another way to show your enthusiasm and enjoy your favorite show on your Android device. While they were mostly launched as a marketing tactic, some official movie games give fans a way to enjoy their favorite movie in a completely different way. In fact, some people who have never heard of the movies these games were based on eventually falling in love with the source material while playing these games. Finding them in the Google Play Store can be a bit of a challenge, so we went ahead and searched for the best games for Android devices. While there are quite a few on the Google Play Store, only a few really stood out. Don't let the agency find out because you can just find yourself neuralyzed. men in the black franchise enjoyed a third film only this 2012, but but certainly don't limit yourself on the big screen.
