For more information, please contact [email protected]. news Information Services • University of montana • missoula, montana 59801 • (406) 243-2522 IMMEDIATELY sale/rb 6-27-75 CASTING FOR 'HOT L BALTIMORE' local + cs + ht + ANNOUNCED AT UNIVERSITY OF MONTANA MISSOULA, Mont.-- Casting has been completed for the Masquer Summer Theater's production of Lanford Wilson's award-winning comedy "THE HOT L BALTIMORE," to be presented by the Department of Drama of the University of Montana School of Fine Arts July 16-20 at UM. "HOT L BALTIMORE," to be directed by Rolland Meinholtz, associate professor of drama at UM, has received a number of awards, including the New York Drama Critics Award, "Best American Play of 1972-73"; The Obie Award, ''Best Off-Broadway Play, 1972-73"; and the Outer Critics Circle, John Gassner Playwrighting Award. Bill Lewis, the affectionate but clumsy and blusteringly friendly Night Clerk at the 'hotel' will be played by Jim Brodniak of Kalispell, and the Girl, a romantically enthusiastic and maddeningly curious young 'resident' of the hotel, will be portrayed by Peggy Dodson of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Anna Weber of Havre will play April Green, a character well-remembered from the recent television production. Jackie, the denim-jacketed, leather-booted young idealist,will be played by Jo Brodniak of Missoula, and Mr. Morse, a slow moving but energetic and comically outraged old man, will be played by Rob Durkin of Butte. Other members of the cast include Debra Fleming, Cody Harney, Nancy Wendel, David Wright, Rita Bridenbaugh, Anne Garde, Tim LaMange, Jiggs Caldiron, Dee Cook and Jeff Avent. "THE HOT L BALTIMORE" is scheduled for only five performances, July 16 ... 20, at 8 p.m. in the intimate and air-conditioned Masquer Theater on the UM campus. Tickets for the production will be available beginning Sunday, July 13, in the Masquer Box Office and should be reserved in advance due to the limited seating capacity of the theater.
