Last April 2013, Trixie Diaz of Grade 4 competed in swimming and won 2nd place in the 20M freestyle basic (girls) event held at the College of Human Kinetics, University of the Philippines, Diliman. 2. Last May 24, 2013, Mikaela Liana Gabuna of Grade 3 competed in swimming and was awarded as promising swimmer and 2013 top 10 swimmer in the said event that was held in Central Condominium swimming pool, Central Ave, Quezon City. 3. Last May 12, 2013, Chloe Anne Marie Fabic of Grade 5 competed in the 42nd Philippine Swimming League series Nikkie Coseteng Splash Competition at Diliman Preparatory School, Commonwealth Q.C. She received the following awards: Gold medals for 50 m butterfly, freestyle Silver medals for 50m backstroke and breaststroke Trophy for Most Outstanding Swimmer (age 9-10) Last June 8, 2013, Chloe Anne Marie Fabic of Grade 5 competed in the 45th Philippine Swimming League series the 1st flag officer-in-command Philippine Navy Swim Meet at the Bonifacio, Naval Station, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City. She received the following awards: Silver medals for 50m freestyle and butterfly Bronze medal for 50m backstroke Last July 27-28, 2013, Chloe Anne Marie Fabic of Grade 5 competed in the PASIKLABAN 2013 by the National Capital Region held at Marikina Sports Park, Marikina City. She received the following awards: Gold Medals for 100 and 50m Butterfly, 200m Individual Medley 200m Freestyle, 200m Medley Relay. She also was the New Philippine Swimming League Record Holder for age 9-10. Silver Medals for 100 and 50m Freestyle and 100 and 50m Backstroke She also received a trophy as the Most Outstanding swimmer for age 9-10 Last August 25, 2013, Chloe Anne Marie Fabic of Grade 5 competed in the Athletic Association of Private School (Qualifying Unit for DIVISION Meet) held at the Amoranto Sports Complex, Q.C. She received the following awards: Gold for 100 meter butterfly Silver for 200 meter freestyle and 50 meter freestyle and butterfly Last October 15-19, 2013, Chloe Anne Marie Fabic of Grade 5 competed in the Batang Pinoy 2013 (Luzon Qualifying Leg) held in Iba, Zambales. She won a Silver Medal in the 100 Meter Butterfly and was awarded as one of the distinctive Batang Pinoy Swimming delegate who will represent the Luzon team for the finals. The National Game will be held from November 19-26 at Panaad Sports Complex in Bacolod City. Last November 16, 2013, Chloe Anne Marie Fabic of Grade 5 competed in the Quezon City Division Meet (Qualifying Unit for National Capital Region Meet for Palarong Pambansa held at the Amoranto Sports Complex, Q.C. She won a Gold Medal in the 100 Meter Butterfly, Silver Medals in the 200 Meter Freestyle, 50 meter Freestyle, 50 meter Butterfly. Gold Medals in the following events 200meter Medley Relay – Quezon City Unit 7 and 400 meter Medley Relay – Quezon City Unit 7. Last January 22-24, 2014 Chloe Anne Marie Fabic of Grade 5 competed in the National Capital Region (NCR) Meet for Palarong Pambansa 2014 held at the Rizal Sports Complex, Manila. She won a Gold Medal in the 400 meter Individual Medley Relay for Q.C. Team, Silver Medal for 200 meter Individual Medley Relay for Q.C. Team, Bronze Medals for 100 and 50 meter butterfly. They were also awarded as the over-all team champion- Q.C. Team. Last January 26, 2014 Chloe Anne Marie Fabic of Grade 5 competed in the 52nd Philippine Swimming League Leg Series held at Rizal Sports Complex, Manila. She won a Gold Medals in 50 meter Butterfly and Freestyle. She also holds a New Philippine Swimming League Record for girls 10 years of age in the Butterfly event), Silver Medals for 50 meter Backstroke and 50 meter Breaststroke. She also received a trophy as Most Outstanding Swimmer for age 10. 4. Last May and June, 2013, Ysabell Victoria Laluces of Grade 4 competed in swimming and they are as follows: a. May 25, 2013 – Perpetual Tank Swim Club Novice Age Group Invitational Swim Meet at the University of Perpetual Help Swimming Pool, Barangay Molino Cavite, Bacoor Cavite. She won GOLD MEDALS in the 25m Butterfly, Breaststroke, Freestyle events and a BRONZE MEDAL in the 25m backstroke. b. June 1, 2013 – 25th Valle Verde Country Club Toby’s Novice age Group Invitational Swim Meet at Valle Verde Country Club, Pasig City. She won GOLD MEDAL for 25m Butterfly, SILVER MEDALS for 25m Breastroke and Freestyle and a BRONZE MEDAL for 25m Backstroke events. c. June 8, 2013 – Swimteck Milo 2013 Novice Swimming Meet at Ultra Pasig City She won a GOLD MEDAL for 200m Medley 4x50m Open Relay, SILVER MEDALS for 25m Butterfly and Backstroke and a BRONZE MEDAL for 25 m freestyle events. 5. Last May 24-26, 2013, Juljanteja Eco of Grade 6 and Felicity Eco of Grade 2 competed in the Summer Skate 2013 held at SM Mall of Asia and SM South mall. They both won in the following events: st 1 place – Gold medal for technical and couple spotlight Last June 28, 2013, they were both awarded by Milo as Best Athletes. 6. Last May 26, 2013, Cyron Thialyn Opeña of Grade 2 competed in the Xiphia Gladus Swimming Competition. SINGING Last June 22, 2013, Sophia Almira Tamondong of Grade 5 joined the YAMAHA Festival of Songs II Held in La Salle Greenhills at Brother Donato Performing Arts Theater. Capuz of Grade - participated in the Global Art 5th National Competition held at SMX Convetion Center, Pasay City. She won 1st runner-up in Category B. TAEKWONDO A. Last December 20, 2013 Nirene de Padua of Grade 3 competed in taekwondo “Fun Kix Division held at the Valenzuela Astrodome. She won a Bronze medal in the said competition. B. Last January 19, 2014 at Don Bosco, Makati. The following girls competed in the 14th Don Bosco Taekwondo Cup. They are: Ma. Angeline Brigino of Grade 3 won bronze medals in the Sparring and Pomsae events. Andrea Louise Dayo of Grade 5 won Silver medal in Forms and Bronze medals for Wood breaking and Sparring events. Ashley Payumo of Grade 6 won Gold Medals for wood breaking and pomsae events. Elaine Doctolero of Grade 6 won a Gold Medal for wood breaking, Bronze Medal for pomsae and sparring events. Bea Veronica Lauro of 3 St. Anne and Shanna Marisse De Vera of Grade 4 will be joining the Math contest in Hongkong on July 24-28, 2013. Marian Nogoy of 5-Understanding and Andrea Denise Uy of Grade 6 will be joining the Philippine Team in the International Math competition in Singapore on August 2-5, 2013.
