These games also include divisions for persons with disabilities and an arts component called the National Artist Program. The 2009 edition brings together athletes, from all provinces and territories competing in 18 different sports for two exciting athletic weeks. You are among 4,400 participants, 6,000 volunteers, 10,000 visitors from ‘off-Island’, and over 300 media. Be sure to take advantage of the warm hospitality and enhanced facilities that this experience is certain to provide. A special thank you to all the event coaches, staff, parents, and volunteers who have made this ultimate inter-provincial and territorial sporting competition possible.
