Now don’t get us wrong – the Owls are here for a reason. Thanks to a +78 net yards per game increase in the second half of the season, Rice fi nished on a 5-1 SU and ATS run – including a pair of SU underdog wins to close out the season – making them bowl eligible for the fi rst time in four years.
