From: Dr. James Cho of Bellevue Hospital I am collecting donations of phone chargers and used smartphones for patients hospitalized at Bellevue. As you probably have heard, hospitals are restricting visitors due to infection risk, and one of the most difficult aspects of this disease is being alone while sick in the hospital. Many patients arrive to the Emergency Room without their phone charger. Hospital staff are charging phones when we can so patients can keep in touch with family, but the infection risk is not insignificant. A bag to collect these items will be available at the service entrance of The Carlton Regency, 137 East 36th Street, NE corner of Lexington Avenue. The service entrance is on the plaza level 36th Street side. The best time to drop off donations is daily from 8am-8pm. Thank you!
