He won Big Ten Freshman of the Week and NCAA Rookie of the Week honors. NEBRASKA MEN’S GYMNASTICS Christopulos competed on floor, rings, vault and high bar, claiming two event titles. Christopulos is the first Husker to win the rings event since 2018 when Alex Magsam won FACTS at the Arnold Challenge (3/3/18). Christopulos won the event after notching a 13.40. He First Season of Gymnastics .................. 1937 is currently ranked No. 10 in the NCAA. National Team Championships................... 8 The Layton, Utah native won the vault title after earning a 14.95. This is the highest Consecutive Team National Championships* ...5 scoring vault in the NCAA of 2021 season thus far. Christopulos is currently ranked No. 2 Individual Championships ........................ 42 behind Stanford’s Curren Phillips. Nissen-Emery Award Winners ................... 3 NCAA All-America Awards .................... 200 The freshman finished third on floor. Christopulos was a part of a Husker lineup that CoSIDA Academic All-America Awards ....17 notched scores all in the 14s.
