LAUNCHES TWO NEW LABELS IN 2008 FORT LEE, NJ (February 2008) – This year marks a pivotal period of growth for leading apparel group, Wicked Fashions, Inc. As the parent company for Southpole and LOT29, Wicked Fashions is thrilled to announce three new additions to their brand portfolio: Wckd, WHITETAG, and Southpole Collection, an expansion of their flagship brand, Southpole. The new brands will debut at MAGIC in Las Vegas this February and will be available in-stores for the Fall/Winter 2008 season. Established in 1991, Wicked Fashions was founded as a wholesale company to provide fashionable, affordable apparel to the urban consumer. Since then, the company has managed and executed every aspect of its labels’ operations including, product design, licensing, sourcing, distribution and marketing. Wicked’s ability to create fashion at accessible prices is evident once again with the launch of the two new brands and Southpole Collection. “We are simply an amazing anomaly in the mid-tier sector of American retailing. Our core competencies allow us to grow brands organically and have them flourish under our management objectives. The two brands and new collection under Southpole will further demonstrate our ability to create more offerings in our vast ‘kitchen’,” says David Strumeier, Vice President of Marketing, Licensing, and New Business Development for Wicked Fashions, Inc. The Wckd label will offer consumers smart fashion basics for teens that are street savvy and looking for authentic, affordable clothing ranging from jeans to hoodies and button-ups to polos for a more polished everyday look. Through the Wckd brand, Wicked Fashions is making fashion and quality more accessible to a larger cross-section of consumers. This fresh approach to cool basics will be Wckd’s signature and the label will be available at national retailers Against All Odds and Mervyns, just in time for Back-to-School. WHITETAG will launch into the mid-tier market and provide an inventive approach to premium, trend-focused denim styles at a value. With denim at the center of two existing Wicked Fashions brands, WHITETAG is a natural venture for the company, which is looking to accommodate the “missing middle” and multicultural mid-tier shopper. The collection will focus on products that combine the latest looks and styles with solid, quality workmanship. Southpole, Wicked’s flagship and best-known brand will also evolve in 2008 with the addition of Southpole Collection, an extension of their Southpole Juniors label. The related separates line will offer an array of fashion- forward, dressier looks to pair with the original streetwear line. Southpole Collection is inspired by runway trends, which are translated into versatile and wearable pieces that can easily go from a day at the office to a night out at the club. In addition, all three categories under the current Southpole label --- Juniors, Young Mens and Youth --- will undergo design modifications which include slimmer silhouettes, bolder art, as well as surf and skate inspired detailing which is sure to broaden the appeal of the collection. LOT29, Wicked Fashions’ upscale brand, which appeals to an edgy, trend-setting consumer, will introduce a new look and feel for both the Young Mens and Juniors collections. The line will feature a more premium denim which will provide the consumer with quality product while maintaining the same price point. The 2008 Fall/Winter collection will continue to utilize popular character imagery with the introduction of Betty Boop and DC Comics superheroes, Batman and Superman. America’s Next Top Model winner, Jaslene Gonzalez, remains the face of the brand. Wicked’s ability to launch two new brands and collection in one year is a testimony to the company’s keen understanding and positioning within the apparel industry. Privately held, Wicked Fashions employs 400 people in its corporate office in Fort Lee, New Jersey. Its solid management has been recognized with awards from retail partners, including JCPenney, Gottschalk’s, and many other notable retailers. # # # .
