2016 Bond Bill Funding During the 2016 legislative session, the Maryland General Assembly evaluated 155 bond bill requests that totaled nearly $32.5 million. The Senate and the House each funded $7.5 million in legislative projects; individual bond bills were not acted upon by the legislature. Instead, the General Assembly amended the State Capital Budget Bill (SB 191) to specifically list the projects selected for funding. The chart below indicates the status of those bond bills funded in 2016. The "Total" column on the right indicates the total amount of funding approved for each project.
