We fielded teams in Under 8's through to Under 18's this year, with four teams in under 8's two teams in the under 10's, 11’s, 13’s, Youth Girls 14’s, and under 17’s. In addition, there were another 100 girls and boys participating in the Auskick rookie programme. I have been fortunate to have seen a number of our teams play this year and I am very impressed at the determination, skills and sportsmanship displayed by all players across the age groups. This is a credit to the players, coaches, managers, parents and the Club. What a fantastic group of children we have playing for the mighty Eastlake football club. Club Sponsors This year the club was again in the great position, being able to provide much needed equipment to our players. Coaches/Managers/Volunteers/Parents & Carers I would like to congratulate our Coaches and Managers and all their helpers. The club is very fortunate to have a so many parents and carers willing to step up and help out. The Coaches and Managers do a fantastic job and rely heavily on the army of volunteers that help out at training and on game day. It is really pleasing to see so many people getting involved. A lot of junior clubs struggle to survive without this sort of support. Thank you all for your support and I look forward to working with you in 2020. The team’s continued development throughout the course of the season was evident in every game, as they consistently demonstrated improvements in the skills they had learnt at training. The team was a well-balanced group of individuals that had contested football winners, outside runners, hard line defenders, tall power forwards, and of course fast small forward crumbers. The individual player’s ability to adapt to different positions was a real strength of our team, and I was extremely
