In the last game played in the 2020 season, the Hoosiers topped Nebraska, 89-64, in the Big Ten Tournament. IU has played in 5 overtime games this season (2-3), the most since they played 6 in 1998-99. The Hoosiers made 18 of 34 three-pointers (52.9) against Rutgers this year, but still shot 39.3% against them this season. IU held a 23-8 lead in the second meeting this season with 8:42 left in the first half. In the Big Ten Tournament in 2018, the Hoosiers built a 16-point first half lead against the Scarlet Knights before falling. In that game, then-freshman Aljami Durham was 10-for-10 from the free throw line which took place in Madison Square Garden. IU played Gonzaga on December 6, 2008, the first basketball game ever in Lucas Oil Stadium. Gonzaga won, 70-54. IU Coach Archie Miller coached in the second game that day in Lucas Oil Stadium as an assistant at Ohio State when they took on Notre Dame.
