Looking forward: The Black Country in 2033 Introduction This report, Looking Forward: The Black Country in 2033 presents the main findings from a series of workshops attended by over 150 civic and business leaders, community representatives, educationalists and young people. In these workshops we identified several alternative futures for the Black Country and a preferred vision. Through this process we tried to define our aspirations for the Black Country over the next 30 years.
