Your team: Data Technology We power customer and content decisions through machine learning, automation and tooling. We lead on strategic data initiatives (e.g. Project Nucleus Platform and Performance Engine) and data governance within technology. BACK-END ENGINEER Your role: • We are looking for a talented and passionate Backend Engineer to join our team based in Sofia, Bulgaria. • You will build and maintain data pipelines and APIs that support our Data Science, Data Products and Insights teams • You will take requirements from our Data Architecture and Data Science Engineering teams and turn these into high quality, robust solutions using the most appropriate technology and methodologies Our ideal teammate has/is: • You’re a true engineer with a passion for well crafted and tested code, considering everything from architecture and security to performance • Strong knowledge of Python (or other scripting language such as JavaScript or Ruby) • Strong back-end engineering expertise • Very good SQL knowledge • Use of cloud providers (GCP would be an advantage) • Use of CI/CD tools such as (CircleCI or similar) • Infrastructure As Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation etc.) • Batch data engineering (Apache Airflow preferred) • Realtime data engineering (Apache Beam, Apache Kafka, GCP PubSub, GCP Dataflow etc) • Data warehousing (BigQuery, Redshift, etc.) Desirable skills: • Working with data from event log systems - e.g. web analytics / clickstream raw logs such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Data Management Platforms (DMPs) etc • Google BigQuery • Creating and maintaining data quality processes and standards, including data quality automation and documentation • Understanding of git and CLI • A love of data and/or data analytics and/or data visualisation 25 Days Paid Leave Supplemental Health & Competitive Exceptional Social Dental Care Remuneration Package Package & Special Discounts Team Bonding Events Excellent Office Relaxing & Gaming Free Bike Parking & Location & Facilities Areas Showers www.questers.com [email protected].
