He received his B. Sc. degree in 1955 from Wuhan University and M.S. degree in 1958 from Nanjing University, all in chemistry. He was a visiting scholar at University of Wisconsin, Illinois and Florida (1980-1982); Visiting Prof. at University of Alcala (Spain, 1991), University of Hong Kong (1994), National University of Singapore (1997) and National Taiwan University (1999). He was a former director of Academic Committee of the State Key Lab of Coordination Chemistry, former member of The Evaluation Committee of the National Natural Science Award of China and The Academic Degree Reviewing Committee of the State Council. He has been the Editor-in-Chief of Chin. J. Inorg. Chem., Editor of Sci. in China, B, Chem., International Editor of J. Chem. Soc. Dalton Trans., Inorg. Chem. Commun., Comments on Inorg. Chem. and Chem. Asian J.. Prof. You was the secretary of 25th International Conference on Coordination Chem. (1987). He has won the award of Chugaev from USSR Academy of Science (1987), the award of 1st-class (1991,2002) of ″progress on Science and Technology by the State Education Commission″, the 3rd-class prize of ″National Natural Science Award″ (1992), the award of the foundation lecture of the Federation of Asian Chem. Soc. (1995), the 2nd-class prize of ″National Natural Science Award″ (2004), and the Technological Progress Award of Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation (2004). Prof. You’s research interests include: The synthesis, assembly, structure and properties of coordination compounds; the bonding and spectroscopic studies on coordination compounds; Molecular and Supramolecular opto-electronic functional materials. µ 南京大學配位化學 國家重點實驗室 µ 中國科學院院士 游效曾,1934 年 1 月生,江西吉安。1955 年武漢大學學士,1957 年南京大 學碩士。1980-1982 年美國威士康星、伊利諾和佛羅里達大學訪問學者。 1989-2001 年前後被西班牙 Alcala 大學、香港大學、新加坡國立大學和臺灣 大學聘為客座教授。1991 年當選為中國科學院院士。 先後任南京大學配位元化學研究所名譽所長,配位元化學國家重點實驗室學術 委員會主任,國務院學位委員會化學組評委; <J. Chem. Soc. Dalton Trans.>, <Inorg. Chem. Commun.>, <Comments on Inorg. Chem.> and <Chem. Asian J.>國際編委,《中國科學》化學部編委,中國化學會《無機化學學報》 主編。曾任中國化學會常務理事、無機學科委員會主任,國家自然科學獎和自 然科學基金委員會化學組評委。 半世紀來,游教授從事無機化學教育和科研。編著了《配位元化合物的結構和 性質》、《 結構分析導論》、《 結構化學計算》和《分子材料-光電功能化合物》 等四部專著,指導了一百多位獲得碩士、博士學位的研究生和博士後,他們活 躍於國內外化學界。曾獲中國化學會配位元化學優秀博士導師獎”(1989) 以表彰他在培養研究生中的貢獻。游教授還積極進行旨在促進我國無機化學發 展及推動國際學術交流的活動。他積極的參與了我國第一個“配位元化學研究 所”和“配位元化學國家重點實驗室”的創建。曾兩次獲得國家科委等單位頒 發的“國家重點實驗室優秀個人金牛獎”(1994 和 2004)。他主持了在我國 召開的“第 25 屆國際配位元化學會議”(1987),會議永久秘書 Kirschner 教授在致鄧小平主席的感謝信中強調了他對會議的“非凡組織工作”及品 質,和海外學者共同發起了二年一次的“世界華人無機化學研討會”(1996) 和“中韓雙邊無機化學學術會議”(1997)。 早期他致力於無機化學的基礎研究,特別是關於配位元化合物的合成、結構、 成鍵和性質研究。綜合運用現代物理方法和理論著眼於微觀結構和宏觀性質的 闡明。游教授已在國內外發表重要 SCI 論文八百多篇。曾獲國家教委科技進步 一等獎兩次(1999 和 2003),國家自然科學三等獎一次(1991)和二等獎一 次(2004),原蘇聯科學院無機化學研究所秋加葉夫獎(1987),亞洲化學會 基礎研究報告獎(1995)。 2004 年獲得何梁何利科技進步獎。 .
