School Meals in Dauphin County School District The District’s meal program will be supported through collaboration with the Pennsylvania Department of Education and the National School Lunch Program. Any child, 18 or under, who lives within the boundaries of Central Dauphin School District will be eligible for free breakfast Central Dauphin School District and lunch. Central Dauphin East High School The CHILD MUST BE PRESENT in order to receive the meal due to National School Lunch Program reimbursement guidelines. Meals will be given on a first come, first served basis until supplies run out. We will adjust supplies as we are able to gauge the level of community Central Dauphin High School participation in the program. Lingelstown Middle School Swatara Middle School What: Free breakfast and lunch – both meals will be given at the same time. Chambers Hill Elementary Where: East High School AND Swatara Middle School – choose the location that is most convenient for your family. West Side Elementary Paxtang Elementary Paxtonia Elementary Rutherford Elementary South Side Elementary Tri Community Elementary West Hanover Elementary During the current period of school closure for all K-12 schools through Friday, March 27, Derry Township School District is committed to Derry Township School District helping ensure students in need of food assistance do not experience meal interruption while they are not in school. Hershey Early Childhood Center-K-first grade The district will be providing resources for the breakfast and lunch meals, which students would normally receive during school hours. We are working collaboratively through our community partnership with Cocoa Packs, which will be facilitating the delivery of these meals in conjunction with the additional food assistance it normally provides for students. During this two-week period, Cocoa Packs will operate out of Hershey Primary Elementary-2nd-3rd grade the Spring Creek Church of the Brethren, located at 335 E. Areba Avenue in Hershey. Hershey Intermediate 4th-5th grade As this situation continues to evolve, additional information will be provided as it becomes available. If approved, we plan to begin serving a “grab and go” type breakfast and lunch to students multiple days a week – again, this is pending approval from PDE. Cereal and other assorted breakfast items and a milk will be provided for snack. Middletown Area High School WHERE: Fink Elementary School (rear lot), 150 N. Race St. AND Middletown Area High School (front drive-up lane) 1155 N. Union St. Choose the location that is most convenient for your family. WHEN: Starting Tuesday, March 17, 2020 and every weekday between 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM. HOW: Walk-up and drive-thru service. No congregating at the location is permitted. Steelton Highspire High School The District’s meal program will be supported through collaboration with the Pennsylvania Department of Education and the National School Lunch Program. Meals (breakfast Susquehanna High School and lunch) will be provided on a first come, first served basis. All breakfasts and lunches will be nutritionally balanced. All children through age 18 must be present to receive meals.
