BENNETT, M.A., Ph.D. The Metropolitan Toronto Library Board was set up as a regional library board under the Public Libraries Act, 1966 E. J. CANNING and the Municipality of Metropolitan Toronto Amendment Act, 1966. It is composed of one person appointed by each GEORGE W. CARTWRIGHT of the six area municipalities; the chairman of the Metro­ politan Council, or his representative; one person appointed WALTER G.
