Commonwealth Pakistan ● Pakistanis eat a wide variety of food, including barbecued meat, chapati and dhal. What ● The main fruits they eat are mangoes 省 省 省 and apples . Pakistanis Eat ● They eat on short tables and sit on the floor. They also sometimes sit on blankets for comfort and in case they spill. ● In some parts of Pakistan, a type of refreshing tea is made with rock salt taken out of the ground. ● In the villages of Pakistan, women go out and collect berries from the thorn bushes. The berries are sometimes sweet and sometimes sour. ● If these berries were picked in summer, the skin would break off easily and the juice would leak from them because they would be soft. Although, in winter, the skin of the berries would not break because they would be frozen. ● These berries are also very high in nutrients and can feed the villagers for a long time as they don’t rot easily. ● In Pakistani villages, women and men often have to walk across long bridges to collect hay to feed the cows as well as their other daily needs. Traditional Pakistani Outfits ➔ Pakistanis wear many traditional outfits. ➔ These are called Salwar Kameez, Sherwani and Saaluk. ➔ Pakistani clothes are often loose but fancy. ➔ They can be any colour and any size depending on the person’s liking. ➔ Pakistani clothing often refers to ethnic clothing. ➔ Pakistani dressing also changes to reflect on the different seasons. ➔ Pakistani clothes also feature shiny jewels, sequins and delicate embroidery. WHERE IS PAKISTAN IS LOCATED PAKISTANI HOMES Well you probably know this already but Pakistanis live in a country called Pakistan, which is in the continent of Asia. Pakistani homes are sometimes like our homes, but in general, they are often smaller yet cozy. Some people there can’t afford to have a house however, and they end up being homeless. PAKISTAN Pakistani houses in the city are made from concrete and metal and Pakistani houses in the countryside are made from wood and hay. PAKISTANI CULTURE There are some very beautiful places in Pakistan like this picture. Some famous places in Pakistan include the Hunza valley, Phander lake and Hingol National Park.The most beautiful place in Pakistan is Islamabad which has a landmark that has four big sharp towers and a short fat one below it surrounded by green and nature. Lahore, which is another city in Pakistan, is known for its historical buildings like the Red Fort. Pakistani Sports Cricket is the most famous sport in Pakistan. Other popular sports in the country include squash, field hockey and polo. The current Pakistani Prime Minister is a famous ex-cricketer called Imran Khan Pakistani Geography Pakistan has many mountains, rivers, lakes and deserts. It also has many different seasons and get very hot but also freezing cold. Some famous mountains in Pakistan include Karakoram, Himalaya and Concordia. Famous deserts in Pakistan are the Thar Desert, Kharan Desert, Cholistan Desert and Katpana Desert.
