Horses descended in tail fem ale from *G HAZ EL are registered in the follow ing stud books: SSB, AHR, SBFAR, IT SB, AHSB, CHAV, ACCA, AAS, G ASB, D AV, CR AS, BRSB, PAR A, CAHR, RJ SB, ALSB, U AE, HAHR, Q ASB. M ost Spanish Arabian breeders w ill find this report on the *G HAZ EL tail fem ale line im pacts their ow n breeding program , through m any of her outstanding descendents. T he Spanish M ilitary breeding program (Y M – Y eguada M ilitar) records (SSB studbook) give evidence that m ares are often m ated w ith m any different stallions over the course of their reproductive years. Not nearly all of the resulting offspring are used into the succeeding generations. Selection w ould tip to the ones that appear to be the m ost w orthy of reproducing, the ones that exhibit the breeder’s desired traits. T he Spanish Arabian is basically designed as a w ar horse, one w ith agility and strength of m ind and body. T he M ilitary conducts tests for their horses.
