The ION’s Annual Awards will be presented during this event, and the 2017 ION Fellows will be named. The Executive Committee approved a proposal this past April to ensure that the ION’s ITM and PTTI meetings would continue to remain co-located for two more years, deciding to co-locate both events in the greater Washington, D.C., area in Janu- ary 2018 and January 2019. Besides the networking and multi-program advantages of holding the two meetings at the same place and time, co-location allows for more economical registration fees, and it was noted that many attendees would be able to make travel to Washington, D.C., a multi- purpose activity.
