The Rebellion in Leinster ● After the brutal treatment of Wexford by British soldiers, a revolt was led by Fr. John Murphy. ● They had victories at Oulart Hill, Enniscorthy and Wexford. ● They were eventually defeated at the Battle of Vinegar Hill The Battle of Vinegar Hill The Rebellion in Connaught ● French General Humbert sailed to Ireland to help the Rebellion.
