1 Freedom Fighters of India India is a land of endless freedom fighters. Many are known and many are unknown. They are the ones who sacrificed their whole life for the freedom of the nation. India has 200 years of freedom struggle from 1757 to 1947. Among the freedom fighters of India, the most popular are Mahatma Gandhi, Mangal Pandey, Rani Laxmi Bai, Subas Chandra Bose, Bhagat Singh. They devoted and sacrificed everything for the betterment of motherland. Non-violence was Gandhi’s tool to fight. Rani Laxmi Bai with her bravery fought thousands of enemies. Bhagat Singh kept trying to free India even the second before he was hanged. All of the fighters have the stories to be respected. It is our duty to appreciate them. We all must salute them from our heart. Their voice of pain and pride is with us even today. It is not only in Republic Day and in Independence Day that we should celebrate their victory. But we should remember them every day. Today’s free India was a dream for the freedom fighters. Their goal of life was a free India where we live now. The freedom we enjoy today is the gift of those famous fighters.Freedom fighters are the persons who take so much of pain and sufferings to save their country. They fight until they die.
