He could not bear the slaughtering and bloodshed in the battlefield !Thus he gave up violence and preached peace all through his life. *First Battle of Tarain - 1191 A.D Md Ghori was defeated by Prithviraj Chauhan. *Second battle of Tarain - 1192 A.D Md.Ghori came back the next year and defeated Prithvi Raj Chauhan with the help of Jaichand. *Battle of Chandwar - 1193 A.D Md.Ghori defeated Jaichand who had invited him to invade India and defeat Prithviraj Chauhan. Thus, Turkish rule was firmly established in India. *First battle of Panipat- 1526 A.D. Thus the nawab was defeated and killed while Mir Jafar became the new nawab of Bengal.
