SUMMER MUSIC MASTERCLASS CHOTĚBOŘ 29. 6. - 6. 7. 2019 Dear friends, we would like to invite you to the fifth year of the Summer Music Masterclasses, which will take place at the Music School in Chotěboř from 29 June to 6 July 2019. This music-educational project is being prepared in cooperation with internationally acclaimed artists Marta Líbalová (Czech violinist living in Denmark) and Jytte von Rüden (outstanding Danish accordionist). Both of them occasionally visit the Czech Republic and for many years have been working with young talented musicians. These meetings have resulted into the idea of summer masterclasses that have been based in our school and already established a significant position among such events. Teaching in recent years has led to the extraordinary satisfaction of all participants. Based on the lessons with Marta Líbalová and Jytte von Rüden, many students were inspired for further collaboration with lecturers and motivated to apply for studies in their class at the Danish National Academy of Music. The ever- increasing interest of pupils and teachers of music schools, conservatories and universities in the Czech Republic allows for the organization of Chotěboř masterclasses even this year. We look forward to your participation and we hope you will be satisfied. FACULTY: Ass. Prof. Marta Líbalová studied at the Music Conservatory and the Academy of Music in Prague with professors Antonín Moravec and Petr Messiereuer.
