Statement: Stop Nord Stream 2! As Members of the European Parliament, we call upon European officials and officials in EU member states to do whatever they can to stop the completion of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline now. The European Parliament has expressed its objections against Nord Stream 2 several times in the past. We do not want to see Europe's dependency on Russian energy supplies increased and we do not want to allow Russia to benefit from the proceeds of such energy exports to the EU in order to finance its aggressive policies.
