The final score was a tight 81-72 Alabama win. It was Fernando Malaman F Sr. 7.0 ppg, 3.7 rpg, 1.0 bpg the first preseason game for both teams. UM was led by Greg Brown with a game-high 24 points, including Trent Plaisted F/C So. 13.6 ppg, 6.9 rpg three 3-point baskets. Marcus Kennedy added 14 points, while Darron Robinson posted a double-double with Mike Rose G Sr. 3.1 ppg, 0.7 rpg 11 points and 10 rebounds.
