Band 2, score 2 points >=600 m a.s.l. <700 m. a.s.l. Band 3, score 4 points >=700 m a.s.l. <850 m. a.s.l. Band 4, score 6 points >=850 m a.s.l. <1000 m. a.s.l. Much of the initial list of summits was based on the work of Manuel Alberto Marques published and now adapted and translated into Portuguese by Pedro Carvalho, CT1DBS/CU3HF. Despite our very best efforts, the summit database is unlikely to be complete. For summits that might still be missing, an application can be made with the Association Manager. If the summit meets the SOTA criteria, it will be assigned a reference number and added to the summit list as soon as possible. Summits cannot be counted for points until a SOTA reference has been allocated. 2.2 - General information Regions are based on macro-regions used in Portuguese Territory. All regions do have the same points rationing scheme. 1 See General Rules for parameter definitions 5 Document S64.1 v2.1 Summits on the Air – ARM for Portugal (CT) To qualify for a summit, it has to meet the following requirements: ⚫ The summit must be listed in the national toponymy list or topographic map - scale 1:1:50 000 or 1:25 000 – (IGoE and DG Território); ⚫ The prominence of the summits must be at least 150 m; The summit database does not claim
