Also all the volunteers that assisted. The weather held off, it looked like the everyone October 23 @ 5:00pm ~ Honoring: had an enjoyable time. The Houghs Neck Community Council presents many programs and events throughout the year but the Fall seems busiest. The Russell Patten ~ Good Neighbor ChowdaFest is complete and now we are working on two more events first Nancy Jacobs ~ Community Service is the Fall Harvest Fest to be held on Sunday October 16th, Noon to 2PM at Brill Field. This free event for the kids has always been a big hit with Crafts, Jerry Mullen ~ Community Service Games a Bounce and Face Painting also Cider and Coffee. Then our annual Good Neighbor Banquet the following Sunday. The Selection committee Jeff Crispo Sr. & Jeff Crispo Jr. ~ Hero’s has 5 of the Necks best as nominated by their neighbors. Russell Patten - Nancy Jacobs - Jerry Mullen - Jeff Crispo Sr. and Jeff Crispo Jr. The catered COME CELEBRATE OUR Banquet will be held Sunday, October 23rd beginning at 5PM with a social GOOD NEIGHBOR’S hour. A family style turkey dinner catered by Encore Catering will follow. The Mayor and City Council. Along with a plaque from the community council. Tickets for the Banquet are only $15.00 and are Sunday, October 23, 2016 ~ $15.00 available through Eileen at E & T Ceramics 617-479-4107 at the Community St. Thomas Aquinas Hall ~ Darrow St. & Manet Ave. Center or from the council board members.
