No. 929-3244, 927-9702 Loc.131; Cell phone: 09159111585 DRUG GROUP MEMBER ARRESTED IN ABRA SEARCH WARRANT IMPLEMENTATION A drug group member was arrested during the implementation of a search warrant by the anti-drug operatives in Bangued, Abra. Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Director General Aaron N. Aquino identified the suspect as Jomar Barbosa Purugganan, alias Mamay, 35 years old, a resident of Barangay Gaddani, Tayum, Abra and an alleged member of Bangued Triad Drug Group. At around 10:05 am, February 1, 2019, joint elements of PDEA Regional Office Cordillera Administrative Region (PDEA RO CAR) under the supervision of Director Edgar Apalla, Abra Police Intelligence Branch, Drug Enforcement Unit, Regional Intelligence Division, PMFC, Tayum Municipal Police Station, and Bangued Municipal Police Station implemented a search warrant in Barangay Gaddani, Tayum, Abra resulting in the arrest of the suspect. Confiscated during the operation were 21 pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance of suspected shabu weighing more or less 25 grams with an estimated value of Php140,000.00, one caliber 9mm pistol, 9 pieces of caliber 9mm ammunition, a caliber 9 mm magazine, cash money, and several drug paraphernalia. The suspect will be charged for violation of Article II of Republic Act 9165, or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. # # # .
