MEMBER TEAMS • The honors are the fifth for Rauhauser, third for McKay and first for de Mey and Sowder in their careers. University of Alabama in Huntsville • WCHA Teams Among National Statistical Leaders: Through fi ve weeks of the 2019-20 season, WCHA teams rank among University of Alaska Anchorage the top fi ve nationally in a number of categories. Lake Superior State shares the national lead in assists with 58 while University of Alaska Fairbanks Minnesota State ranks fourth (55). The Lakers also share the NCAA lead in team points with 90 while the Mavericks are fourth at 86. MSU is also second in the country in scoring defense at 1.50 goals allowed per game. Bemidji State University • Three in the Top 20: The WCHA again landed three teams in the USCHO.com Top 20 this week. Minnesota State remains Bowling Green State University the league's top-ranked team at No. 3 in the latest poll. Northern Michigan climbed four spots in the rankings this week, Ferris State University moving from No. 20 to No. 16, and Bowling Green moved up one spot to No. 17 after its road split at MSU The Alaska Lake Superior State University Nanooks were among the teams receiving votes for the fourth consecutive week. Michigan Technological University • Minnesota State is also No. 3 in the USA Today/USAHockey Magazine rankings this week as both the Falcons and Minnesota State University Wildcats again received votes.
