Anderson Center has been chosen by the Association of College Unions International as a recipient of the 2013 ACUI Facility Design Award. The award is given for excellence in the design of student-centered buildings that encourage community and student learning. Entries are judged on appearance, the design process, and the facility’s effects on the campus. Hamline was one of two recipients in the $25–$40 million budget category. Dahlberg Memorial, a large star structure surrounding a tree that honors Hamline’s highest values: service, humanity, educa- tion, community, and faith.
