July 2016 AIR • EARTH • FIRE • WATER Warsop Carnival 2016 The Elements WARSOP CARNIVAL 3rd July 2016 THE ELEMENTS Please Note: All information contained within this programme is subject to change depending on The Elements circumstances. The theme for Warsop Carnival 2016 is based around ‘The Elements’: air, earth, fire and water. This ever popular event will be held at The Carrs Showground Grove 66 on Sunday 3rd July and promises a full day of great entertainment for all the family. The traditional Carnival Parade is due to leave Robin Hood Avenue Other attractions and side shows include: Mad Drop (a free fall stunt at 12 noon, led by the Seaforth Highlanders Pipe Band, traveling act which encourages audience participation for free but a donation through the streets of Warsop and arriving at the Carrs showground is appreciated), Joker Entertainment, Sue Fee (fire artist), The Rotary at around 12.45pm with floats from a wide range of local groups, Duck Race (see below), Warsop in Bloom Flower Show (see page 3), charities and schools including: Scouts, Hetts Lane Holiday Club, Birds of Prey, Classic Cars, and of course everyone’s favourite, the Birklands Primary School and Netherfield Infant School, Fairground. Plus much more! to list but a few. Steve is one of the most experienced outdoor attractions on the circuit - he started presenting his motorbike stunt show aged six! It’s non-stop, thrill-a-minute with Dangerous Steve’s Fire and chainsaw juggling, giant unicycle, ladder balancing and blindfold motorcycle riding in an hilarious and dynamic act full of sensational stunts and with brilliantly funny audience participation, knockabout comedy, crazy balancing and a thrilling fire-juggling finale - it’s a real crowd pleaser!
