During this time I have not ceased in my endeavor to trace the fragments of the Master's life through 2,000 T years of historical and biblical documents. No investigator has ever approached his life more diligently, or more thoroughly, for my search has been governed by my heart and uncluttered by pre-conceived concepts. I became consumed by questions, as to what he ate, how he dressed, where he was between the ages of one and three, three and twelve and twelve and thirty-three. Nonetheless, nothing that I discovered took away from the magnificence or purpose of his death. Rather I developed a greater passion for more knowledge as a result of my efforts. When I first started my research I little knew that I had begun an investigation that would eventually span three decades. Now I wonder what I might have thought had I known that I, who had found history an intolerable subject in school, would ultimately peruse manuscripts from all parts of the world, including rare translated manuscripts from the Secret Archives of the Roman Vatican. During the early years of my search for the real Jesus, the largest and most important piece of the great puzzle fell into place. It became apparent that the Master taught two teachings; one to the masses and another to his close followers. These hidden teachings instantly captured my heart, and ultimately changed the course of my life. They are so powerful and universal that they are alone sufficient to abolish all religious and racial differences. The early period of my exploration into the life of Jesus of Nazareth was probably more revelation than documentation, some-what like a dawn breaking through the last threads of night. As one of my great teachers, Professor Edmond S. Bordeaux, said, the common or popular literal interpretation of the scripture "did not always correlate with the reality." Jesus sometimes appeared to be a Jesus partially created from human comprehension, subject to exoteric understanding. I had set out to find the truth behind ritual, however, and left no stone unturned regarding either Jesus or his teachings. There had to be answers somewhere and, of course, there were. Eventually I found that many explanations were tied into the seeming duality of heaven and earth. While each living thing, including man appears distinct and separate; this seems to be somewhat of an illusion. I would discover that matter is none other than the dense outer cloak of spirit; or in simple language, the suit of clothes which God wears. It did not take too long to determine that Jesus teachings could be understood on multiple levels and that his more popular teachings were literal and related to basic human comprehension. Accordingly, theories that were not in harmony with the essential nature of the universe were discarded.. Having acquired this knowledge I returned to my studies. Everything the Master taught took on a different meaning, and what had once been a knotted ball of string became straight as a new course to follow was laid out in front of me. To summarize my findings 9 would take many years of writing and teaching. For this reason I have chosen to dedicate myself to the Lost Jesus Scroll, as I believe it will most benefit the world at this time. Evidence of Christianity's secret teachings is replete in the writings of the early church fathers, such as St. Dionysius, the first Bishop of Athens, who said, "The tradition of the sacrament is said to have been divided into three Degrees, or grades; purification, initiation, and accomplishment of perfection." The Apostolic Constitution attributed to Clemens, Bishop of Rome, described the early church (AD 347), saying. "These regu- lations must on no account be communicated to all sorts of persons, because of the Mysteries contained in them." Tertullian (AD 216} stated in his Apology, "None are admitted to the religious Mysteries without an oath of secrecy. We are especially bound to this caution, because if we prove faithless, we should not only provoke Heaven, but also draw upon our heads the utmost rigor of human displeasure. Far hence, ye profane, is the prohibition from all holy Mysteries." Archelaus, Bishop of Cascara in Mesopotamia, who in the year 278, initiated a controversy with the Manichaeans said: "These Mysteries are not explained to the Gentiles at all, nor are they taught openly in the hearing of Catechumens: but much that is spoken is in disguised terms, that the Faithful who posses the knowledge may be still more informed and those not acquainted with it, may suffer no disadvantage." The list goes on to include such Bishops as Cyril, Bishop of Jerusalem, St. Basil, the Great Bishop of Caesarea, St. Ambrose, Archbishop of Milan, and St Augustine, Bishop of Hippo. Nevertheless, the words of St. Cyril, appointed Bishop of Alexandria in 412 AD, best sum up the reason for the secrecy. In his 7th Book against Julian, he writes: "These Mysteries are so pro- found and so exalted, that they can be comprehended only by those who are enlightened. I shall not, therefore, attempt to speak of what is so admirable in them, lest by revealing them to the uninitiated I should offend against the injunction not to give what is holy to the impure, nor cast pearls before such as cannot estimate their worth. "I should say much more if I were not afraid of being heard by those who are uninitiated: because men are apt to deride what they do not understand. And the ignorant, not being aware of the weakness of their minds, condemn what they ought most to venerate." When I chanced to stumble upon the Lost Jesus Scroll, I found myself in the same quandary
