They told us that their [rebranding] story was a ‘rut story’ that they needed to move past by acknowledging the error and looking to how they could best serve their clients. They shared that a custom consultation through the Transform Your Story Fund would help them to move forward and better serve their cause. THEIR JOURNEY WITH US Deaf and Hear Alberta is a great example of an organization that truly recognizes that capacity building work is complex and multi- faceted. Their Transform Your Story project was their third with Propellus and their continued engagement with our organization demonstrates the importance of taking a holistic approach to organizational health. The also shared that accessing our workshops is easy and reasonably priced. THEIR JOURNEY WITH US They have been brave in their efforts to continuously improve. NEFC shared that we help strengthen them by being the main resource for information that they need on a variety of subjects. During a renaming project we helped procured funding through a Calgary Foundation grant for a consultant to help they required. Stories2015 PROPELLUS ANNUAL REPORT 7 WHY THEY CAME TO US They wanted to tap into a new market, to reach a new target audience as most of their donors (about 80%) are over 50. They wanted to develop a project for “Giving Tuesday”, and wanted to do some marketing research around how to target potential donors under 35. They shared that they wanted external expertise to support them on this project, as this was completely new for the organization. THEIR JOURNEY WITH US Operation Eyesight really did a great job in capturing the impact of the project they embarked on. We believe the ideas sparked during their interactions with their consultant will have lasting impact on their organization’s fund raising activities.
