All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society’s INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ANNUAL REPORT Academic Year 2016-17 1) Preamble:- In this academic year students of our institute secured First Prize in the National Level Technical Event ‘Mind Spark’ organized by the College Of Engineering Pune, Pune.Department of Computer and Information Technology received Best Accredited Students Branch Award from Computer SocietyIndia, India.Our students secured ranks in Savitribai Phule Pune University Examinations, Mr. Ringya Hungray from BE Electronics secured 1stand received a Gold Medal , Ms.Bharti Pratik Kumar secured 4th and Ms.Shinde Pranali secured 6th . This year our Institution walked up a very crucial milestone by hosting the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers ( IEEE) International Women in Engineering (WIE) Conference on Electrical and Computer Engineering (WIECON-ECE 2016) International conference in our college.In WIECON-2016, 15 technical topics were clubbed in 9 different technical tracksand 65 participants had registered and presented their papers. Key note talks, Technical Talks and Tutorial were conducted by well known speakers all across the globe.Mr.Nilesh Kulkarni and Mr. Sachin Gaikwad received award for “Best Innovative Project Award” under guidance of Prof. V.K.Bairagi, Associate Professor Department of E&TC.
