Date: 09/30/2019 Subject: *DTC* - Technology Update 09/30/2019 Contact: Collin Bonner, [email protected] Dear District Technology Coordinator: This technology update contains information related to the following topics: ACCESS- WIDA Screener: Apple's iPadOS 13.x Release DTC Kick-Off 2019-2020 webinar ACCESS- WIDA Screener: Apple's iPadOS 13.x Release Apple recently released an update for Operating System iPadOS 13.x, which has introduced a compatibility issue with DRC INSIGHT Secure App for iPads. If you plan to administer WIDA ACCESS for ELLs or WIDA Screener using an iPad, we ask you not to install the update and remain on the current version until DRC has fully assessed this new version. If you have already updated your iPad Operating Systems to 13.x, additional information will be provided to you once DRC testing is complete. DTC Kick-Off 2019-2020 Webinar Registration The 2019-2020 DTC Kick-Off Webinar is scheduled for Wednesday, October 16th, 2019 12:45 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. CDE asks that districts make arrangements to share one connection per district if they wish to have multiple participants. This will help CDE ensure that the 100 participant session limit is not exceeded. A recording will be made available for individuals who are unable to attend the live session.
