As our college is affiliated to University of Kerala and the scheme and syllabus are prepared by the University, we are not in a position to make any change in the course curriculum. As some of our faculty are members of different Board of Studies of Kerala university, we are reporting the grievances after discussing the matter in College Academic Committee. The Choice Based Credit and Semester System was implemented in under graduate level on 2010.The main grievance from students and the teachers was about the completion of the syllabus in the stipulated time period. So the matter is considered in the next revision held on 2013-14.But still the complaint is raising as classes are disrupted due to university examinations and valuation camps. In some subjects the second revision was held on 2017 . The semester system was implemented in post graduate level on 2001.Then onwards we are reporting the grievances of students ,teachers and parents in all the revisions held. The parameters included in the schedules are based on five criteria such as whether the syllabus was updated enough to meet the demand of students, getting enough time to discuss the topics in the syllabus, course content, and the extent to which the syllabus helps the student to pursue higher studies etc. The main suggestion is about the insufficiency of the course curriculum to acquire knowledge in the current developments. However, there was a strong opinion among the students and teachers that there was not enough time to completely discuss/teach the topics mentioned in the syllabus before the examination. These suggestions were reported to the University after discussing the matter in college Academic Committee. .
