Follow Rv 13 Ryfylkevegen until you see the sign towards Preikestolen. The trip takes approximately 1 hour and 16 minutes by car, plus 13 minutes by ferry. From April through September there is a buss connection from Tau to Preikestolen Fjellstue, running several times a day. The bus corresponds with ferries from Fiskepirterminalen in Stavanger. The rest of the year the bus stops at Jørpeland, 9 kilometres from Preikestolen Fjellstue. Further transport will then have to be by taxi. With private car: Drive to the Lauvvik ferry dock (Rv 13) and take the ferry to Oanes. Drive along Rv 13 to Jøssang and follow the signs towards Preikestolen. This is a scenic road. You can also take the ferry to Tau and follow Rv 13 via Jørpeland. Parking fee 150 kr per car, 60 kr per motorcycle.
